I often joke that my company, Rice & Gravy, has the secret sauce—and a big part of that sauce is Notion! It’s hands down one of my holy grail tools. Notion has been with me every step of the way, from my days in the corporate world to running my own business. In fact, I use it to organize my entire life and business.

If you’re not familiar with Notion, I like to describe it as what would happen if OneNote or Evernote had a baby with Trello and Asana. It’s perfect for everything from jotting down ideas and general note-taking to more advanced tasks like project management. And when you’re ready to level up, its robust API makes connecting other tools effortless.

One of my favorite features is the database function, which helps me to EVERYTHING from track project timelines to create detailed content calendars for my clients.

HoneyBook is my go-to CRM tool for streamlining client management. It handles everything from onboarding and scheduling to proposals, contracts, and invoicing—all in one place. This all-in-one approach saves time and eliminates the need for juggling multiple platforms.

I rely on HoneyBook’s Proposals feature to create polished client offers, while the Contracts and Invoicing tools ensure a smooth process from start to finish. The built-in scheduling tool makes booking seamless, cutting down on back-and-forth emails.
